Kerala expects Centre's approval for Rs 63,941 crore 'SilverLine' high-speed rail project: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 4 (UNI) Kerala Government is expecting to receive a final approval from the Centre for the Rs 63,941 crore 'SilverLine' high-speed rail project, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told the State Assembly on Monday.
The process for getting the approval for the SilverLine project, a game-changer in Kerala’s infrastructure growth as well as economic development, is at the final stage, the Chief Minister said while replying to a question on the project.
Kerala has also submitted a project report for availing a foreign aid of Rs 33,700 crore to the Union Finance Department in this regard, he added.
