Bengaluru, Sep 20 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday hinted that BS Yediyurappa was not removed from the chief minister's post as Indira Gandhi removed her chief ministers.
During reply to price rise debate in the assembly, Siddaramaiah taunted the chief minister by saying that perhaps Yediyurappa was laughing at his reply.
Intervening Siddaramaiah's remarks, Yediyurappa lauded the reply of Bommai on price rise. "Of late, I have not heard a better speech than Bommai's. He has prepared very well his speech which was laced with facts and figures. I congratulate him for this," he said.
