Total lockdown in Yanam region for 3 days from Aug 9 over increase of COVID positive patients

Puducherry, Aug 8 (UNI) In view of the increase in the number of Coronavirus positive patients in Yanam region of the Union Territory, a total lock down will be imposed for three days starting from Sunday.
Yanam Regional Administrator Shivaraj Meena in an order on Saturday said that all shops and business establishments will remain closed for three days.
Milk booths will be opened from 6 AM to 8 AM and again from 6 PM to 8 PM and medical shops will open round the clock.
