Field Assistants meet Seethakka, long-standing issues get assurances of resolution

Hyderabad, July 30 (UNI) Field assistants working under the Panchayat Raj department received a ray of hope after a crucial meeting with Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr. Danasari Anasuya Seethakka at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
The group had gathered to raise long-pending issues, some of which had been unresolved for nearly a decade.
Minister Seethakka, after hearing their grievances in detail and consulting with departmental officials, assured the field assistants that the government was committed to addressing their concerns. She ordered that all field assistants be paid equal salaries without any discrimination and promised to extend both group insurance and health insurance benefits to them.
