Singareni sanctions Rs 500 cr for setting up medical college in Ramagundam

Hyderabad, Dec 27 (UNI) As per the promise made by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, state-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) in its 100th Annual General Body meeting held at Kothagudam on Monday approved Rs. 500 crores for setting up of medical college and Super Specialty Hospital at Ramagundam.
With the special interest shown by SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N. Sridhar, the board of Directors of the Mining Company approved the sanction of Rs. 500 crores recently, the Mining company said in a release here.
Two years back, the Chief Minister announced in a meeting with Singarenians in Srirampur area that one medical college will be constructed in Ramagundam area and with this the public and workers will have access to super specialty medical services.
