PAPSCO's special Diwali Bazaars in UT nets Rs 11 crore revenue

Puducherry, Nov 6 (UNI) Puducherry Agro Products, Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (PAPSCO)'s special Diwali Bazaars has netted a revenue of Rs 11 crore in the Union Territory through sale of groceries and crackers at subsidized rates.
It may be noted that after a gap of three years, PAPSCO had opened the special Diwali Bazaars here from October 24 to November 3, from October 27 to November 3 in the Karaikal region and provided groceries and crackers to the people at subsidized rates.
PAPSCO, which is running in loss, has decided to improve its revenue through these special diwali bazaars and in 2022, it will set up special bazaars at different places in the UT, official sources said.
