AP CM directs officials to focus on increasing revenue in Stamps, Registrations

Vijayawada, June 10 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday directed the officials to focus on increasing the revenue in Stamps and Registrations, Excise, Commercial Taxes, Transport and Mining.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting on revenue earning departments here at the camp office. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister instructed the authorities to expedite the registrations for OTS and TIDCO beneficiaries.
He said awareness on registration services that are being made available in the village and ward secretariats should be created among the public, as they can avail those services. He opined that people must be educated on both legal rights and security that comes with the registration process.
