Nine rivers were overflowing in Bihar

Patna, July 29 (UNI) Following heavy downpour in the catchment areas of Nepal and in several districts of North Bihar, nine rivers were flowing above the danger level in the state.
According to the Central Water Commission, river Ganga has crossed the danger mark at one place, Budhi Gandak was flowing above the red mark at six places, Bagmati at 4, Adhwara group of rivers, Kamlabalan, Kosi and Mahamana at two places each and river Parman at one place.
According to the commission, the water level of river Ganga was flowing increased flowing 16 centimetres above the danger mark in Kahalgaon of Bhagalpur whereas the water level of river Gandak has increased and it was flowing 140 cm above at Dumariaghat in Gopalganj.
