Tobacco Board chairman calls on AP CM

Vijayawada, Sep 30 (UNI) Tobacco Board chairman Raghunath Babu called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office, located at Tadepalli near here, on Wednesday.
The Tobacco chairman apprised the Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy that as per the directions of the State government the MarkFed extended its cooperation to the tobacco board in tobacco purchasings, resulting in the tobacco farmers earning Rs.125 crore benefit.
With the interference of MarkFet at an appropriate time, the farmers were able to sell their produce at higher price and earned profits, he informed the Chief Minister and thanked him.
