AP govt to set up 38 LPG based incinerators in cemeteries at a cost of Rs 51.48 cr : Minister

Vijayawada, July 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh government will set up 38 LPG based incinerators in 38 cemeteries at a cost of Rs.51.48 crore in order to do away difficulties in performing last rites.
Talking to media here on Wednesday, Minister for Municipal administration Botsa Satyanarayana said that one LPG incinerator each would be set up in 35 municipalities and three municipal corporations, the tender process would be taken up soon and the works would be completed by November, 2020.
The Minister said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy directed them to make available 38 LPG crematoriums to ease difficulties to the bereaved families in performing the last rites.
