AP minister distributes Rs 23.51 crore aid to 2,799 DWCRA groups under YSR Aasara scheme

Kakinada, Oct 13(UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Agriculture, cooperation, horticulture, food processing and marketing Kurasala Kannababu has distributed Rs 23.51 Crore aid under the second installment of YSR Aasara scheme to 2,799 DWCRA groups at a function held at Sarpavaram junction spandana hall in Kakinada rural mandal on Wednesday.
Kannababu said the aim of the Chief Minister Jagan Mohanreddy was to extend the benefits of all welfare schemes to the eligible poor at their door steps through the volunteers network at the village level.
He said the Chief Minister was committed to his assurance that the government would extend all out assistance to the DWCRA groups to make them financially sound as such paying the second installment of YSR Aasara scheme for the Dassara festival. The Minister further said that Rs 75,000 would be credited to the accounts of each of the members of the DWCRA groups in five installments and already two installments had been released.
