AP suffered Rs 8,084 Cr loss due to heavy rains, floods: AP CM

Vijayawada, Nov 11 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy told the Central team that the State suffered Rs.8,084 worth damage due to heavy rains and floods.
The Central team led by Joint secretary in the Union Home ministry Saurav Ray, which visited various flood and rain affected areas for two days in various districts, called on the Chief Minister at his camp office at Tadepalli near here on Wednesday. The Chief Minister asked the Centra team to ensure that AP was granted Rs.8,084 crore by the Central government.
Mr.Ray told the Chief Minister that the team visited the affected areas and enumerated the crop loss caused by heavy rains and floods. The team promised the Chief Minister that they would submit their report at the earliest and ensure that the Centre disburse funds to the state.
