Stop fever survey, more than 50 per cent information cooked up: Health & Medical Comm

Chittoor, Oct 14 (UNI) State Medical and Health Commissioner Bhaskar on Thursday expressed deep concern over the attitude of the officials and staff and directed them to stop fever surveys as more than 50 percent of the date is cooked up without venturing into the field.
During a video conference from Vijayawada with district health and medical officials, immunization officials, Bhaskar was highly critical of Chittoor district on various aspects including fever survey and making the people strictly adhere to COVID safety norms.
He expressed his displeasure at the officials for giving fictitious statistics without conducting field visits, keeping the authority in the dark and wanted them to stop the fever survey.
