Father-son duo killed as goods carrier rams into container lorry

Madurai, Sep 10 (UNI) In a gruesome tragedy, a 55-year-old vegetable trader and his son were killed on the spot, when a goods carrier rammed into the rear side of a container lorry at Rayapalayam Vilakku on the Madurai-Tirunelveli four lane here on Thursday.
Police said the deceased were identified as Palpandi and his son Thavamani (21).
The father-son duo were vegetable traders and both of them usually sell vegetables at different residential localities in sub-urban Tirumangalam from the goods carrier.
