Partially burnt files to be scanned, saved: Investigation team

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 29 (UNI) An Investigation team probing the Secretariat fire incident on Saturday informed that the partially burnt files will be scanned and saved in a strong room.
The statements of officials of the protocol department were also recorded and video-graphed by the Investigation team.
Earlier, Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala demanded an NIA probe into the fire incident at the protocol department which has been asked by the NIA to submit all details regarding communication with the UAE Consulate in connection with the diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case.
