Nurse killed as windowsill of under construction new block in SVIMS falls on her

Tirupati, Oct 5 (UNI) An outsourced nurse died, after a windowsill of a under construction new block in the first floor of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), designated as Covid hospital, fell on her here on Monday.
Reacting to the incident, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas has asked the SVIMs Director Dr Vengamamba to take all necessary measures and ensure that none of the COVID Patients were put to discomfort.
The Minister directed her to submit a detail report on the incident and assured that the government will provide full succour to the deceased nurse as per the rules.
