Electrician dies of electrocution in AP

Kakinada, Jul 8 (UNI) A private electrician has died of electrocution while working on an electric pole in Velicheru village of Atreyapuram mandal 80 km from here on Wednesday.

The electrician climbed up the pole to undertake repairs to the agriculture motor pump set when the mishap occurred.

The Police who registered a case identified the deceased as Merupe Ravindrababu (32).

Pending further investigation the body was sent to government hospital Rajahmundry for postmortem, police said.
