New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Congress member Manish Tewari on Monday in the Lok Sabha urged the Centre to include Punjabi language in the list of official languages, along with Kashmiri, Dogri, Hindi, Urdu and English in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Raising the issue in the curtailed Zero Hour in the House, the Congress Member asserted that a large section of people in Jammu and Kashmir were Punjabi speaking.
'I urge the Government to include Punjabi language in the list of the official languages,' he said.
