LS passes Demands for Grants for 2017-18 by applying guillotine

New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) The Lok Sabha today passed the Demands for Grants for about 100 Ministries and Departments for the financial year 2017-18. The House completed the first phase of budgetary exercise while passing the necessary appropriation bill after the Demands for Grants for about 100 Ministries and departments were put to the "guillotine" vote. The Demands for Grants for major Ministries like Railway, Defence, Agriculture and Home -- which were discussed separately were passed earlier. More UNI DEVN AE 1735
