RPI extends its supports BJP in Gujarat polls

Thane, Oct 22 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah, on his birthday got a special gift--the support of Republic Party of India in upcoming Gujarat Assembly polls. Union Minister and RPI president Ramdas Athawale on Saturday evening while holding a press conference here declared that his party will support BJP in forthcoming Gujarat polls and ensure the saffron party victory. 'We will ensure that the BJP gets maximum number of votes and seats in the coming elections,' Mr Athawale said. Mr Athawale also advised Shiv Sena party president Uddhav Thackeray to not to quarrel with the BJP. Mr Athawale also warned Maharshtra Navnirman Sena for their attitude towards hawkers. 'If MNS workers want to fight,then fight on border', he said. If the MNS workers doesn't stop their harsh attitude towards, then Bhimsainik would protect them and give a befitting reply, he warned. He asked the hawkers to register their complain with police or administration. He demanded action on those MNS men who had attacked the hawkers in their drive on Saturday he said. He declared that in order to protect the hawkers the Bhimsainiks and RPI activists will come out on the roads. Nearly 70 per cent of the common people make their purchase from the hawkers.
