Patna, Nov 18 (UNI) LJP Chief and union minister Ram Vilas Paswan today said that his party would not field candidate in upcoming Gujarat assembly election.
Mr Paswan told newspersons here that LJP was supporting BJP in Gujarat assembly election and it would not field its candidate in the election. He said that he had addressed several election meetings in support of BJP candidates in Gujarat, adding that BJP would certainly return to power in the state.
Mr Paswan said that nobody was virtually in contest against BJP in Gujarat and the party would form the government by bagging more than 150 seats. He added that people of Gujarat were very enthusiastic about election and their support for BJP was clearly visible.
He said that a chief minister of Gujarat had become the Prime Minister of the country and his name was popular not only across the country but also across the world, so how people of Gujarat could disappoint him.
