AP CM on State CapitalsVisakhapatnam,Apr 29 (UNI)Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandra Babu Naidu today announced that the Port City will be financial capital and Tirupati the spiritual capital and 'Amaravathi' the State Capital in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the Industrial Mission here,he said AP had huge natural resources to be exploited by entrepreneurs and 15 nations had come forward to invest in the Sri City SEZ in the state.
He also said that the capital city of Amaravati will have 220 km ring road and the new capital will be spread on both sides of the Krishna River between Guntur and Krishna Districts near Vijayawada.
Mr Naidu released the Industry Mission Document at a conclave of industrialists here today.
Addressing a galaxy of industrialists from across the world assembled here to attend the function and participate in interactive session with the Chief Minister, Mr Naidu explained the advantages of investing in the State and said Andhra Pradesh was rich in minerals and had a good working climate.
Visakhapatnam had a positive industrial climate with no industrial dispute issues, he said and added people here were docile and there was no fear of being cheated.
It had a salubrious climate, he added. He also spoke on the beauty of the landscape in North Andhra. The Chief Minister signed memoranda of understanding with 47 companies for investment worth Rs. 35,745 crore to create 73,000 jobs.
