India won’t go the SL way: Yashwant

Bhopal, July 14 (UNI) The Opposition’s presidential candidate and erstwhile Union Finance minister Yashwant Sinha expressed confidence on Thursday that conditions in India would not decline on the lines of Sri Lanka.
During a visit here, the leader was responding to a media comparison between the economies of the two nations.
“Our southern neighbour’s economy is primarily based on tourism and that sphere sustained a body blow owing to the pandemic. In stark contrast, we do not rely on a few sectors alone,” he said.
