Man critically injured in bear attack in north Kashmir

Baramulla, Sep 9 (UNI) A man was critically injured when a bear attacked him on Wednesday morning in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, official sources said.
They said a wild bear entered village Chrawan in Ajas in Bandipora district from nearby forest Wednesday morning. However, before the villages could do anything, bear attacked and critically wounded one person identified as Frooq Ahmad Khan. However, the wild animal escaped back to woods, they said.
Khan was immediately rushed to local hospital from where he was referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura Srinagar for specialised treatment.
