Killer leopard in Shimla to be caged soon: Official

Shimla, Nov 11 (UNI) A leopard that killed a four-year-old boy in Shimla town on Diwali day "will be caged in three days", a senior Wildlife official said.
Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Anil Kumar Thakur told UNI on Thursday 11 camera traps and three cages have been placed in the forest by the department to keep vigil on the movement of the leopard believed to have killed the boy in Downdale.
Thakur said it was a male leopard believed to have killed the boy. The big cat has already been captured in the camera traps laid out in the area since. Its pug marks have also been traced in the vicinity of the kill.
