Lucknow, Jun 19 (UNI) Early arrival of monsoon in Northern India triggered heavy rains in the hills and plains, the Ganges has come in spate after release of 3,75,000 cusecs of water from Haridwar at on Saturday morning.
Similarly, there is 1,30,000 cusecs of water on the Bijnor Ganga barrage. The water-level of Ganga is likely to rise further by evening. At the same time, the danger has increased in the coastal villages of the Ganges due to the rise of the Ganges in the western UP.
