Srinagar, May 15 (UNI) After bright sunshine during the day, rain lashed Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir valley, where weather warning for isolated thundershowers, lightening, hail and dusty storm continued for the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, heavy hailstorm during the past 24 hours has badly damaged fruit and vegetable crops in the Kashmir valley, particularly north Kashmir.
A Met department spokesperson on Saturday evening said scattered light rain, thunderstorm and hail would occur in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. He has also forecast isolated light rain and hail during the subsequent 48 hours.
