Vrindavan Widows send Rakhis and Tricolours to PM

Vrindavan, Aug 9 (UNI) This time 501 Rakhis along with 75 tricolors have been sent to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi by widows living in Vrindavan on the festival of Rakshabandhan.
Till last few years, some widows used to visit PM's house to tie Rakhi on the day of Raksha Bandhan. But for the last two years they could not go to tie rakhi to the Prime Minister due to the COVID crisis. This time the Prime Minister's office has been contacted and on getting permission, some widows could go to the Prime Minister to tie Rakhi.
Widows living in the ashram of Vrindavan have prepared special rakhis with images of Modiji and are also sending 75 tricolours along with them.
