Lucknow, August 18 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday expressed strong displeasure over unnecessary delay in development projects being carried out in the public interest.
While reviewing the updated status of various development projects, he warned the officials that any negligence in the works of public interest is unpardonable. He warned that in case of any discrepancy, corruption or unnecessary delay, the accountability of the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Secretary level officers concerned would be fixed.
Along with this, Yogi directed the Chief Secretary to review the important development projects being run in all the 18 divisions and submit a detailed report. He also directed the Additional Chief Secretary Finance to prepare a detailed report regarding the project wise budget issued to the departments in the last five months, the details of the expenditure incurred so far and the balance amount.
