Spot registration facility to be given under CM Samoohik Vivah scheme: Asim

Lucknow, July 19 (UNI) Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Social Welfare Asim Arun on Tuesday while terming the well-being and welfare of the downtrodden section of the society as the priority area of the Yogi government said that the policy of 'zero-tolerance' has been adopted to eliminate corrupt elements from the department, so as to ensure unbiased upliftment of the poor in Uttar Pradesh.
In a press conference organised at Lok Bhawan, Arun said that under the Mukhya Mantri Samoohik Vivah Scheme which aims at helping economically weaker families and conducting marriages of their daughters the facility of on-spot registration and provision of certificates will be made available.
He said that the facility of Abhyuday scheme, under which free coaching is provided to students preparing for various competitive examinations, has been made available in 57 districts within the first 100 days of the second tenure of the Yogi Adityanath government. "The department aims to provide good quality study material and e-content to the doorsteps of students through the scheme," he said.
