SHO accused of raping minor arrested from Prayagraj

Prayagraj (UP), May 4 (UNI) The Station House Officer of Pali police station in Lalitpur, who is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl has been arrested from Dhumanganj area of the district on Wednesday.
A police spokesman said that the Inspector of Pali police station in Lalitpur Tilakdhari Saroj has been arrested from Jhalwa area under Dhumanganj police station. "With the arrest of the SHO, six persons, including a woman, named in the FIR have been arrested," he said.
It may be noted that the SHO had already been suspended and the entire staff of the Pali police station in Lalitpur district was sent to the Police Lines after the officer raped a 13-year-old girl here.
