Nitish initiated big step for opposition unity: Khurshid

Farrukhabad (UP), Aug 15 (UNI) Senior Congress leaders and former Union Minister Salman Khurshid on Monday said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken the first big step for opposition unity.
Talking to the reporters after hoisting the national flag at the district Congress Office, Khurshid said, "Bihar CM Nitin Kumar has taken a first big step towards opposition unity. Though everyone considers it to be good, time will tell how fast it can be taken forward."
On being asked whether Nitish will be the Prime Minister face in 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he said that the leaders of the opposition know their responsibilities very well. "Though everyone considers happenings of Bihar a good start and we are cooperating in the opposition unity," he said.
