Over 1,700 beneficiaries receive free housing as part of flood relief operations in UP

Lucknow, July 25 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is actively monitoring the flood-affected areas, leading to intensive relief operations in 26 cities hit by the disaster.
Relief assistance has been provided to 9,23,134 individuals so far. In response to the damage of 2,138 houses, free housing has been offered to 1,759 beneficiaries, with the process ongoing for 379 more. The comprehensive efforts are aimed at addressing the immediate needs of those impacted by the floods.
Relief Commissioner GS Naveen said that 26 districts in the state are currently affected by floods. These include Lakhimpur Kheri, Balrampur, Kushinagar, Shahjahanpur, Barabanki, Sitapur, Gonda, Siddharthnagar, Ballia, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Azamgarh, Hardoi, Ayodhya, Bahraich, Badaun, Farrukhabad, Basti, Deoria, Mau, Moradabad, Rampur, Maharajganj, Unnao, Pilibhit and Shravasti.
