Lucknow, Sep 23 (UNI) A delegation of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLAs led by Akhilesh Yadav on Friday met Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and accused the state government of harassing senior party leader and former cabinet minister MLA Mohammad Azam Khan.
The delegation alleged on the behest of the state government false and fake cases are being lodged with malicious intent.
After the meeting, Akhilesh said that he asked the Governor to tell the government not to do injustice with Azam Khan. "We requested the Governor that Azam Khan can get justice through you. We told the Governor that the government is continuously implicating Azam and his family in false cases," he said.
