JK: Srinagar receives 'Award for Excellence in Urban Transport'

Srinagar, Oct 27 (UNI) Srinagar Smart City Ltd (SSCL) has been bestowed with the prestigious 'Award of Excellence in Urban Transport' distinguishing it as the 'City with the Best Non-Motorized Transport System'.
Dr Owais Ahmed, CEO Srinagar Smart City received the award at the 17th Urban Mobility India (UMI) Awards, distinguishing Srinagar as the 'City with the Best Non-Motorized Transport System' at an extensive ceremony held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Sunday.
This accolade, presented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, celebrates the efforts of SSCL in fostering a sustainable environment that prioritizes pedestrians and cyclists in Srinagar City.
