Minimum fare in HRTC buses reduce to Rs 5 again: CM

Shimla, June 30 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur announced Thursday to cut down the minimum fare in state buses from Rs seven to Rs five. The government extended this benefit first time after decline in the price of fuel in the country.
Chief minister made the announcement to cut down the minimum fare from Rs seven to five as he was issued five rupees ticket by a conductor in a HRTC service at Dharmshala on Thursday. He was presiding a State level function Naari Ko Naman at Dharamshala Thursday.
CM also launched 50 percent concession on bus fare scheme to women passengers in HRTC buses to be effective from July 1 in the state.
