Haryana gears up to tighten noose around passenger vehicles without valid permits

Chandigarh, Oct 9 (UNI) Haryana government is fully geared up to tighten the noose around those plying their passenger vehicles without having valid permit as now the joint teams of RTA Secretary Offices and joint teams of Haryana Roadways will be deployed on the highway toll plazas.
Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma said that these teams will take action against those drivers, who are plying their passenger vehicles across the state without documents, who do not pay their taxes regularly and those who ply overloaded passenger vehicles. He said that orders regarding the same have been issued by the department.
The Minister stated this while presiding over a joint meeting of General Managers, Roadways and RTA Secretaries of Palwal and Faridabad districts held in Faridabad on Friday.
