UP regains fifth rank in exports in the country

Lucknow, Jan 1 (UNI) Economic activity worldwide had come to a grinding halt due to the lockdown imposed to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus as a result of which the export business of the country and Uttar Pradesh also declined during the first eight months of the current financial year between April-November 2020.
But after coming out of lockdown, UP's export business is back on track again due to the concrete decisions taken by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to promote exports. Not only this, Uttar Pradesh has reached the fifth rank again after taking a giant leap in the field of exports.
According to a comparative study of the government, from April to November in the year 2019, products worth Rs 14,84,386.50 crore were exported from the country of which Rs 80058.44 crore worth products were exported from UP. During the Corona crisis, when products worth Rs 12,99,354.87 crore were exported from the country from April to November in 2020, products worth Rs 72508.14 crore were sent abroad from UP in the same period.
