SFs, parents help youth shun militancy in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 13 (UNI) A youth who had joined Al-Badr militant outfit has returned to home after hectic efforts by police, security forces and parents in the south Kashmir district of Pulwama, a police spokesman said on Sunday afternoon.
He said a youth, who was not identified for security reasons, had joined Al-Badr outfit in Awantipora in Pulwama.
However, police and security force personnel and parents made hectic efforts and persuaded him to shun the path of militancy and return home to lead a peaceful life.
