2 terrorists killed in encounter as security forces foil infiltration bid in J&K’s Poonch

Jammu, July 30 (UNI) Indian Army troops have successfully foiled an infiltration bid by neutralising two terrorists today in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"In a successful anti-infiltration operation, alert troops of the Indian Army eliminated two terrorists attempting to infiltrate along the Line of Control," Defence Spokesman said.
Asserting that swift action and accurate firepower thwarted the nefarious designs, he said, "three weapons have also been recovered."
Nagrota-based White Knight Corps confirmed on the social media platform X.
The defence official stated that synergistic and synchronised intelligence inputs from own intelligence units and Jammu and Kashmir Police led to a successful operation, which is underway.
