Srinagar, Aug 5 (UNI) Strict restrictions continued to remain on Wednesday in the Kashmir valley, including summer capital, Srinagar, where District Magistrate (DM) announced that there is no curfew in any of the district today.
The DM in an order issued late Tuesday evening said curfew restrictions have been withdrawn but existing restrictions on public activities and movement put in place since August 1st in view of the COVID-19 situation in the district, where a sharp spike in affected cases has been witnessed in the last one month or so, will remain in force.
However, the situation on the ground was different as people alleged that there is more strictness today against on Tuesday when pedestrians were allowed to move in most areas.
