Army busts militant hideout, recovers arms, ammunition in Kupwara

Srinagar, Sep 19 (UNI) The Army unearthed a militant hideout and recovered arms and ammunition in the woods in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir, a defence ministry spokesman said on Saturday.
Col Rajesh Kalia said troops conducted a search operation at Kandi Chak Kigam in the woods in Kupwara in the afternoon on Friday.
He said after a long search troops busted a hideout and recovered war like stores, including one AK rifle and two UBGL grenades.
Search operation was continuing in the woods, he said, adding that no one was arrested.

Diggy slams Jyotiraditya

Bhopal, Oct 26 (UNI) Continuing his assault on Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart Jyotiraditya Scindia, Madhya Pradesh’s erstwhile chief minister Digvijaya Singh underlined on Monday that it would be “injustice” to compare Mr Scindia with his sire.
“I worked closely with Mr Madhavrao Scindia. The Congress provided unalloyed respect and ample opportunities to both father and son,” Mr Singh conveyed via social media and posted a news report alongside.
