Two suspected people held in Baramulla grenade attack incident

Baramulla, Sep 1 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two suspected people allegedly involved in grenade attack on security forces in the main town of this north Kashmir district on Monday in which seven civilians were injured.
Official sources told UNI on Tuesday that based on CCTV footage of the Azad Gunj area of Baramulla town police initiated investigation on Monday night.
The investigation was going on and more arrested would be made, sources said.
Seven persons, including two women, were injured after the grenade missed the intended target of security force vehicle and exploded on the roadside on Monday afternoon. Later in apple township of Sopore in the Baramulla district similar grenade attack was made on a police post. However, no one was injured after the grenade exploded at a distance.

Dehradun, Apr 19 (UNI) Uttarakhand has witnessed an average voter turnout of 24.83 per cent for five Lok Sabha seats till 11am on Friday,
Excluding the Nainital constituency, voting percentages in the other four constituencies have surpassed those of the 2019 elections within the same timeframe, which recorded 23.59 per cent turnout by Friday midday.
