Jammu, Nov 19 (UNI) A fierce gunbattle broke out early on Thursday morning between terrorists and security forces in Nagrota area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway here on city outskirts.
Official sources said that a gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Nagrota area early on Thursday.
The gunbattle started around 0530 hours near the toll plaza in the Ban area of Nagrota.
Traffic on the highway has been suspended, they said.
"Reportedly 3 to 4 terrorists are holed up," they said adding that more details are awaited.
