Haryana police rescues & rehabilitates 10868 missing children, adults in 2021

Chandigarh, Dec 30 (UNI) Haryana police have achieved success in bringing back the lost smiles amongst over 10,000 families by tracing and reuniting 10,868 children and adults, including 3839 boys and 7029 girls, who have been missing for a long period of time, in 2021.
Sharing this information here on Thursday, Director General of Police (DGP) P K Agrawal said police has also tracked and rescued 1813 child beggars and 2021 child labourers who were found doing odd jobs for their livelihood.
Tracing and reuniting missing children, missing women, and children in need of care and protection were among the top of police’s priorities during the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
