Ayodhya verdict eve: All educational institutions closed for 3 days, Ayodhya turns into fortress

Lucknow, Nov 8 (UNI) High alert has been sounded in Uttar Pradesh, particularly in Ayodhya, the epic centre on Friday, after the Supreme Court announced to pronounce the historic judgement on Saturday morning.

All schools and colleges, along with other educational institutions in UP, have been closed for three days from Saturday, while security forces are holding flag marches in all 75 districts in the state, to instill confidence among the people.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held meeting with senior officials after the Supreme Court announced to pronounce its judgement on Saturday and took the first hand report of the security measures. He appealed to the people to maintain calm after the judgement.
DGP O P Singh said the situation was normal, but the government was alert to deal with any situation. However, the authorities are taking all arrangements for the fool-proof security in the state as tomorrow is Barabafat, a Muslim festival, while November 11 is Kartik Purnima.

The Centre has rushed additional 40 companies of Central forces to UP.

The entire Ayodhya has been sealed, just as the news came about the judgement and the entire temple city has turned into a fortress.

Around 150 companies of Central forces and PAC have been deployed in the temple city and the entire Ayodhya is under a tight security cover.

Roads toward the Ramjanambhoomi have been totally sealed and people on foot are allowed, only to go after checking.

Ayodhya SSP Ashish Tiwari told UNI on Friday night that all security arrangements are on place and the situation is normal.
"We are closely monitoring the social media and other things," he said, as security aspect would change as per the requirement.

Every road in Ayodhya has been barricaded and bunkers have been set up at all crossings.
District Magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha said there is no such restriction on the pilgrims, due to Kartik Purnima and Barabafat.
'But, any decision would be taken at the right time," he added.

Meanwhile Ramjanambhoomi movement leans Mshant Nritya Gopal Das and Muslim side plaintiff Iqbal Ansari have appealed to the people to accept the SC judgement.

However, the Mahant claimed that now the time has come when the dreams of the majority would be fulfilled.
This is an ALERT NOTICE for tomorrow, when the Ayodhya Title Suit verdict will be delivered at 1030 hrs by the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, the UP government has alerted all jail officers/staff and asked them to be in constant touch with the concerned District Administration for any support or needful action required.
'Keep a vigilant eye on the reaction of the inmates and ensure that their is no communal strife or violence in Jails. Strict vigil should be maintained immediately and stern action should be ensured against such elements lodged in jails, who attempt to spread communal disharmony," said Anand Kumar, DGP & IG Prisons UP.
