Singhu murder:SC outfits handover memorandums to NCSC Chairman, requests fast arrest of culprits

Chandigarh, Oct 16 (UNI) A day after a corpse of a Tarn Taran based Dalit man, with hands and legs chopped off, was found hanging on a police barricade at the farmers' protest site near the Singhu border, various Schedule Caste organisations submitted complaints to National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC)’s Chairman Vijay Sampla, seeking justice for the victim.
While handing over the complaints to Mr Sampla at the Commission’s head office in New Delhi, the representatives and office bearers of various SC organizations condemned the heinous crime and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits.
“Lakhbir Singh was brutally murdered and the victim family should be given justice as soon as possible”, the NGOs, who are representing scheduled castes and are fighting for their rights across the country, appealed to Sampla.
