Mann partakes in Ram Katha at Punjab Raj Bhavan

Chandigarh, April 24 (UNI) On the second day of Shri Ram Katha at Punjab Raj Bhavan, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann attended the programme as the chief guest and lit the ceremonial lamp.
Governor Banwarilal Purohit welcomed the Chief Minister with flowers. Kathavyas Sant Pravar Vijay Kaushal blessed Mann by presenting him a shawl.
Expressing his views, Mann said, “I am fortunate that I was invited to Shri Ram Katha. The occasion reminds me of those bygone days when people of my village used to sit together and watch the telecast of Ramayana on television. In Ramlila Ground, we used to reserve the seat by marking bricks so that Ram Leela could be seen up close. He said that the entire life of Lord Shri Ram is exemplary; we should follow his teachings.”
