AIPEF supports UP power sector employees agitation against privatisation

Chandigarh, Oct 4 (UNI) All India Federation of Power Engineers (AIPEF) on Sunday expressed its concerns regarding the confrontational situation being created by the Uttar Pradesh government over the privatisation of Varanasi Discom.
AIPEF said that all the state constituents will be holding protest meetings in different parts of their state to support the UP power sector employees and engineers who are agitating for the past 10 days against the privatisation drive.
AIPEF held its emergency online meeting on Sunday to discuss the situation in the Uttar Pradesh and was attended by 44 representatives of different states from all over the country.
