Lucknow ,Oct 2 (UNI) While voicing his government’s resolve to protect 'Swabhimaan' (self-respect) of the women, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that the perpetrators of the crime against women will be severely punished which will set an example for the future.
In a tweet written in Hindi, the Chief Minister said that the forces who think about trampling over the self-respect of the women’s pride will be destroyed.
"Those who even think of harming mothers and daughters in UP, their destruction is assured. They will get such a punishment which will be a lesson for the future generation. The state government is committed to provide security to women and ensure their empowerment. This is our promise to the women, the Chief Minister tweeted.
